Swimming siblings’ successes

Siblings Megan and Rogan Shepherd who attend Bryanston High School swam in the Gauteng schools trials.

Rogan won a silver medal in the 100m butterfly, and bronze in the 200m individual medley in the category for boys 16 to 17 years old.

Megan won gold in the 200m individual medley, and silver for the 50m freestyle in the category for girls 14 to 15 years old.

The Gauteng team will be announced on the 10 March and, if chosen, they will be representing Gauteng in Durban from 9 to 13 April in the SA Schools Gala.

“All of us at Bryanston High School are holding thumbs for them both for the upcoming Gauteng team announcement and we wish them the greatest success for the rest of the swimming season,” said Lauren Streng, marketing coordinator for the school.
