Shots fired at Tekkie Town at Fourways Crossing

At approximately 6 am on 10 July, Tekkie Town at Fourways Crossing was the target of a business burglary when five suspects reportedly stole various items from the store before fleeing the scene.

“When they reached the gate to leave the premises, they fired shots at the centre security but no one was injured,” said Captain Mpho Kgasoane, spokesperson for the Douglasdale Police Station.

Kgasoane added that the Douglasdale Police are appealing to members of the community to come forward if they have any information. She also encouraged community not to buy stolen goods, as that is a crime in itself.
