A smashing cricket victory for Dainfern College

Dainfern College was proud to announce that their girls’ cricket team played their first-ever cricket match, against Crawford Sandton.

It was a smashing victory and a day to be proud of.

“Our girls batted first and scored a magnificent 106 runs in their allotted 15 overs, losing only one wicket,” said Deidré Proxenos the college’s marketing manager. “They then bowled out the opposition for 29 runs for a 77-run victory on debut.

“Well done, girls you have set the bar high. The school is excited to see what this strong team brings in the near future.”
