The 5 August dawned bright and sunny as more than 200 children of Crawford Pre-Primary School Fourways and their families participated in the school’s annual sports day.

The atmosphere was vibrant with family members cheering the children on, and some parents even took part in sports themselves such as in the mom’s race.

Schoolchildren weren’t the only ones active during the sports day. Their mothers were invited to participate in a mom’s race.

After all the games were played, the winners received medals for their achievements. Barbara Killian, the principal of the school, was very proud of all the children who took part.

“Well done to all the super stars of Crawford Pre-Primary Fourways on another successful sports day. It was truly a fun-filled day in the sun,” she said.
