A look at some of the internal development that have taken place at Fourways Mall. Once complete, the redeveloped Fourways Mall will have tripled in size to around 178,000m², making it one of the largest of South African super-regional malls, offering a variety of local as well as international retail and shopper-tainment options to consumers.
Fourways Mall has been under construction for some years now and here are the recent construction developments.
According to the head of marketing at Accelerate Property Fund, Zoe van Onselen, “Our investment into Fourways Mall goes beyond the bricks and mortar of the shopping centre as we believe in the exciting future of the broader Fourways area. We are happy with the progress of the upgrades and look forward to what they will bring to the community.”

As part of the development plan to improve road infrastructure and to contribute to Accelerate Property Fund’s vision for the sustainable growth of the Fourways node. The developers of Fourways Mall have invested over R280 million in road upgrades. There are now three lanes on Fourways Boulevard and an additional turning lane has been introduced into Short Street, one of the main mall entrances. The turning lane from William Nicol Drive onto Fourways Boulevard has been enlarged and a new entrance to Fourways View shopping centre can now be accessed from Cedar Road, which has already helped reduce traffic congestion.
